Some steps may have been done earlier, however this will be considered new troubleshooting. In the prior thread there were problems with misbehaving AMD GPU drivers. The last BSOD seen were in May, 2018 when Windows driver verifier was used.
The log file did not have msinfo32 or dxdiag. The minidump file is there, but it is empty. I never get the BSOD, just a machine lock-up. Note: it crashed as I was writing this post. I recently tried replacing the power supply, to no avail. The machine is left on 24/7 and it seems to happen two or three times a day. It usually happens to be when the computer is sitting idle, but not always. The symptom is the machine will lock up and the only way out is to power off, then restart.
